Buyers remorse

I initially downloaded the free application. It worked with my Canon MF4770N fine with the given examples. This is why I purchased the full app. However, the pay-for app only recognizes my MF4770N is on the network; printing generates an error every time. Support did respond to me but their suggestion was to try every Canon driver they have until I find one that works. It may be unintentional but if the test app works and the paid app doesnt then its bait and switch. Very disappointed the author didnt make an effort to make this right. Its been months now and not a single update. My recommendation to potential buyers is to keep looking.
